Those of you who know Janelle and Peter already realize they're a special couple. Before they were married, they decided to graciously make a donation to The Paper Airplanes Project in the memory of Janelle's cousin, Brian Catizone. And at their wedding, they encouraged you to do the same. So, thank you for visiting Brian's Page.

I interviewed Brian years ago when Paper Airplanes was in its early stages of conception. I remember Brian clearly saying that what was hardest for him about being in the hospital was being away from his family and friends. If you listen to "Sick and Tired", you will hear Brian's words in that song. "I want to be at home instead, in my own room, in my own bed…" This song acknowledges the frustrations, and challenges that may accompany a child's illness, and invites them to be a co-pilot in navigating through their journey. This is one small sample of how Brian's words, along with other children with cancer are expressed throughout Paper Airplanes, because the lyrics, the screenplay, the entire Project came from listening to what Brian and these other children had to say about their personal experiences with their cancer. You can also hear some of this initial dialogue on our home page video, where the children talked candidly while painting what would eventually become our Paper Airplanes mural.

Janelle and Peter want to make sure other kids have the opportunity to be reached by The Paper Airplanes Project, which is why they invited you to visit our site. Your contribution will help get Paper Airplanes off the ground, ensuring thousands of children with cancer will have the opportunity to hear these words and be heard themselves. Please become one of Brian's Angels, and send your tax- deductible donation in his name to:
